Students Satisfaction Survey Analysis (Academic Year 2019-20)
Survey Mode: This survey was done through Online mode. The college carried out student satisfaction survey in an online mode. Total 261 responses were obtained from the students. Out of which, 4.6% were male & 95.4% were female students. The college has both U. G and P. G courses, 69.7% of B.Ed. students, 21.8% B.Ed. – M.Ed. integrated students, 3.8% B.A B.Ed. integrated students, 1.5% PGDCA students and 3.1% of M.Ed. students have answered this survey. 32.2% students described teaching- staff approachability as ‘good’ and 59 % students described it as ‘excellent’.
In terms of knowledge exhibition by teachers, 52.1% students described as ‘excellent’ whereas 38.7% students considered this criterion as ‘good’. More than 90% of students agreed that teaching of theory courses in the college enable them to acknowledge the working of school system. 85% students have agreed regarding exposure to varied teaching learning methods in the college. More than 84% of students agreed that the usage of student centric methods cater to diversity of students.
The college strives to satisfy each and every student of the college on every aspect of teaching- learning process, co-curricular, extra-curricular activities. Near about 80% students have responded positively that the program in the college enable them to be ICT competent for school teaching. Almost 80% of students have agreed that Class mentor of every class take a necessary follow up continuously with an assigned task to the students. 83% students agreed regarding fairness of the interval evolution process and described it as to be unbiased. Efforts made by the institute regarding skill enhancement through labs had been described as ‘excellent’ by 30.3% students and ‘good’ by 48.3% students. 37.2% of students described promptness in office services as ‘excellent’ and 52.1% of students described as ‘good’. Nearly 70% students responded in favour of facilities provided by the college in terms of medical aid and financial support.
More than 80% of students expressed their satisfaction regarding cultural, social and sports activities held in the college. Nearly 70% of students felt satisfied in supplementing their learning through various resources like availability of various books, journals etc. in library and full-time internet facility. 60.9% of students strongly agreed that there is gender equality being followed in the college either in dissemination of knowledge or providing educational opportunities among students. Almost 80% of students were extremely satisfied with initiatives taken by college in reference to guidance, counselling and placement cell. And nearly 92% of students were satisfied with all of their experiences with respect to teaching-learning and evaluation process in the college.
