18 Feb 2025 ↑ Award and Appreciation ceremony for Sustainability Leaders Program- 2024

Khalsa College of Education, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar organized “Award and Appreciation ceremony for Sustainability Leaders Program- 2024” on 18-02-2025 in college premises. The chief guest was S. Harbhagwant Singh, District Education Officer (Secondary Education), Amritsar. As per the tradition of college the event started with the college shabad for taking the blessings from almighty. The other dignitaries who grace the occasion were S. Narinder Singh (District Nodal Officer), Mrs. Ravinder Randhawa, Lecturer, (Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Karampura). Principal Prof. Mandeep Kaur welcomed the guests with the saplings as eco friendly token. The main aim of “Sustainability Leaders Program- 2024” was to facilitate sustainable waste management activities for students including webinars, interactive sessions, field visits, assignment, storytelling, poster creation, digital presentation, public speaking with a focus on waste segregation at the secure. Various Amritsar Government schools Principals and nodal officers attended the event. Dr Ruchi Bhargava, Assistant Professor welcomed the chief guests and other dignitaries.  In the key note by chief guest he emphasized the sustainability as the need of the hour. S. Harbhagwant Singh ji also appreciated the college in organizing such type of events. Chief Guest and other dignitaries awarded the winning schools with first, second and third prizes. Appreciation certificates were given to all Government school Principals and Nodal Officers who contributed in the various activities. Dr Pawanpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor proposed the vote of thanks.
