Khalsa College of Education, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar is a prominent teacher education institution established in 2005 with an ancestry of the main Khalsa College (Est. in 1892), Amritsar. Re-accredited with ‘A’ Grade by NACC in year 2022, the sole aim of the institution is to hone the precious human resource for the welfare of the society and nation.

Khalsa College of Education, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar is the first Teacher Education Institution in Punjab to get the status of Multidisciplinary Institution under the name “KHALSA COLLEGE RANJIT AVENUE, AMRITSAR” affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

Khalsa College, Ranjit Avenue Amritsar is offering B.A., B.Com., and B.Sc., PGDCA (T.E.) courses which collectively contribute to the holistic development of students by enhancing their intellectual, technical, and social skills. These programs help students to gain knowledge, discipline, analytical ability, and practical exposure required to meet the challenges of modern society and the competitive world.

The college also offers several teacher education courses such as B.Ed., M.Ed., ITEP (B.A.-B.Ed.), ITEP (B.Sc.-B.Ed.), and 3 Year B.Ed.-M.Ed. Integrated, that play a significant role in the professional and personality development of students. These courses equip aspiring teachers with pedagogical knowledge and skills, leadership qualities, communication skills, critical thinking, research aptitude, classroom management techniques, and a strong sense of ethics and responsibility essential for shaping future generations.

UGC approved and GNDU, Amritsar affiliated job oriented and skill based ODL (Open and Distance Learning) courses viz: BBA, B.Lib., M.A.( English), M.A.( Punjabi), M.Com., DCA ( Diploma in Computer Application), Certificate Course in Communication and Professional Skills in English, Certificate/ Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, Certificate/Diploma in Digital Marketing and Certificate/Diploma in Cyber Security are also run by the institution.
